I went straight for “How to take a nap.” Naps are my new guilty pleasure. I try to take at least one on the weekend which makes me feel like I’ve been on vacation. Sometimes during the week, if I make my lunch the night before, I can take a nap on my lunch hour. That’s almost indulgent!
I found the article informative and will watch the length of my naps on the weekend. Sometimes if I sleep for too long, I want breakfast when I get up. Hence the disorientation. I have noticed the naps do help me recharge on the weekends because I tend to push myself to do a lot more activities than during the week. I wonder if these nap lengths apply to young children.
I also liked the first tip on “6 Tips to Happiness” about allowing yourself to feel all those emotions. Emotions are our bodies reaction to what’s going on around us and telling us to “Pay Attention!” The dictionary says: “an emotion is a mental and bodily reaction marked by strong feeling and psychological responses that prepare the body for action. ” So happiness involves more than feeling good all the time! It involves living!
Some great stuff Cosmo!

Wow! I’ve just read that link on ‘Head Fake’. I’m not sure if it makes me feel happier or not. My brain cells may be atrophied!
I can understand the relationships the article is making though, between increased activity and brain cell renewal. I know that when I do less physical activity, over time I feel more ‘down’.
Lots of food for thought.
I may even write about it.
Thanks for that
